PDF417 Barcode Kit prints 2D Barcodes on the ElectroFlex™ (EBI) Print Systems. PDF417 barcodes provide a far greater data density within the barcode than a standard one-dimensional barcode, and can contain up to 800 ASCII characters in a space no larger than a standard barcode, and can contain various levels of error detection and correction.  An added benefit of PDF417 is its readability even with limited damage, making it widely used by converters in packaging applications.
